Am I the only one who thinks waffles taste infinitely better than pancakes?! I realize this is ridiculous logic, but you can have the same ingredients and, somehow, waffles will always beat out pancakes in my book. This is why I was super excited to buy this mini-waffle maker. Aside from the waffles being adorable, it is very easy to use, and the waffles take less than 2 minutes to make. It is also great for portion control, helps dazzle during brunch, and is a fun way to make breakfast for kids. I use this all the time to make my niece sweet potato waffles and she loves them. Below is my take on how the waffle maker performs across 5 categories.

Product Review

Performance: 5/5

I’ve had this waffle maker for almost six months and it has worked perfectly every time. It only takes a couple of seconds to heat up (a little light turns on to tell you it is on) and it cooks the waffles in less than two minutes. For my sweet potato waffle recipe, I cook the waffles for 1 minute and 30 seconds.  I’ve added a couple of pictures so you get a sense of the size. The waffles come out about the size of my fist and you can easily hold the whole thing with one hand.

Easy to Clean: 4/5

You can’t really put this in the dishwasher so that is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. However, I usually rinse it out immediately once I finish using it and it has been fairly easy to clean. Just be careful to not get the cord wet!

Easy to Use: 5/5

Plug in the waffle maker, open the waffle maker, add batter, close the waffle maker, wait a couple of minutes and remove the waffle. It is a simple as that. There aren’t really any settings that come with it other than plug it in and turns on and plug it out and it turns off. I found it very easy and intuitive to use.

Aesthetics: 5/5

The whole thing is freaking adorable. I went with the white color but they have a bunch of different colors.

Worth It?

100%. Not only is it super affordable, but it works great and is a great tool for making delicious waffles in a matter of minutes!

Full disclosure, I write these blogs in my spare time. I do not have an editor and am the only one who reviews the content. As a result, it is likely I’ll have the occasional typo or grammar mistake. If you find anything, feel free to let me know.

Lastly, I’ll admit food photography is not my forte. If you make the recipe and have a better picture, please share and I will happily post it and give you photo cred!
