Program Summary
Jordan Edward’s Fitness Challenge is a 4-week program that consists of some killer workouts along with general macro guidelines, a sample meal plan, and a recipe book. For the workouts, Jordan sends a pdf guidebook that includes pictures of each workout and instructions around the number of reps and sets. What is really cool is she provides a gym workout tailored for women, a gym workout tailored for men, and an at home workout. I did the gym workout and the program is split into two phases, phase 1 which consists of 6 workouts that you repeat weeks 1-2, and phase 2, a different set of 6 workouts that you repeat weeks 3-4. The structure of the workouts is as follows: MWF is cardio and weights, TTH is cardio + weights + abs, Sat is a HIIT workout. The workouts took me about an 1hr and 15 mins to an 1hr and 30 mins to complete each day, this accounts for the time for cardio and abs. For the macro guidelines, Jordan provides general instructions for the group but you can also sign-up for macro coaching. I ended up signing up and really enjoyed this option. I checked in with Jordan about once a week and she continuously adjusted my macros. She was also super accessible for any questions I had and usually responded within a day. Lastly, what is really cool about the program is that Jordan creates a facebook group that is an awesome support group to keep everyone accountable. She also sets up some fun challenges every week to keep the group engaged. Below is my review of the program based on a couple of categories. Net net, I would highly recommend it. It had some really great workouts and I was really happy with the results.

Jordan Edward’s Fitness Challenge Review
Rating: 5/5
This is a one of the best programs I’ve tried. Below are some of the reasons I gave it such a high rating:
- Gym workouts and at-home workouts that will really push you to build some serious muscle! She includes a separate gym workout designed for men and women, with the women’s being a bit more focused on leg and glutes while the men’s is a bit more focused on arms and chest.
- Macro coaching (this option was an extra charge) that included weekly check-ins with Jordan where she made adjustments to my macros
- A sample meal plan for a week (3 meals and 2 snacks)
- A recipe book with some healthy options to try out
- Support group to help hold you accountable for the program
- Weekly challenges for which Jordan provides prizes for the winners
- Overall cash prize for fitness challenge winners (leaning out or building muscle category)
Duration: 4 weeks
This felt like the perfect amount of time for a challenge. 1 month to really whip things into shape, but not too long so that it is not sustainable. It is also a decent amount of time to start to see some great results. Many people in the challenge seemed to sign up for multiple challenges to stay fit throughout the year.
Level of Effort: Medium-High
You do need to put in a decent amount of time and dedication into this challenge. You are working out 6 days a week and I will admit that the workouts are a little time consuming. I usually allocate about an hour to my workouts and had to make an effort to squeeze some extra time into the day to account for cardio and abs. However, I really enjoyed the workouts and feel like the extra time was well worth the results.
Feels Like a Diet: Nope (yay!)
For the program, Jordan provides guidelines on a macro count but you have full freedom on what items to eat to meet the macros. Her suggested meal plan was really helpful and it was a nice plus to also have access to her recipe book. What I really enjoyed from Jordan’s program is that she really advocates for balance, doesn’t limit you from eating any particular item and even encourages a cheat meal and alcohol one day a week. With her suggested macros, I had to really increase my protein intake and lower my fat intake. I was surprised by how well these macros worked out for me and how great I felt.
Worth It: 100%
This really was a fantastic challenge. The workouts were really well designed and I saw some great results. I loved the positive environment that Jordan created for the group and I had a very fun time participating. I certainly see myself signing up for her future programs and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a program to get back into shape.
Full disclosure, I write these blogs in my spare time. I do not have an editor and am the only one who reviews the content. As a result, it is likely I’ll have the occasional typo or grammar mistake. If you find anything, feel free to let me know.
Lastly, I’ll admit food photography is not my forte. If you make the recipe and have a better picture, please share and I will happily post it and give you photo cred!
