Love Thanksgiving pies but want a slightly more balanced approach? I give you pecan pie bites! These guilt-free bites are only 68 calories vs. a traditional slice of pecan pie, which is 580 calories. This is my second Thanksgiving making these and, according to my friends, they were so tasty they would have sworn they were unhealthy! Inspired by one of my favorite blogs, Skinnytaste.

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven at 350℉. Cover sheet pan with aluminum foil and place the phyllo shells on top.
Step 2
In a medium bowl combine all of the ingredients except the pecans. Use a whisk to mix in the ingredients. Add the pecans and stir the mix.
Step 3
Fill in each mini shell with one teaspoon of the pecan mix. If you have any remaining mixture, distribute evenly amongst the shells.
Step 4
Bake for approximately 20 minutes. You should see the pecan pie mix cooked through. Remove from the oven and enjoy!
Full disclosure, I write these blogs in my spare time. I do not have an editor and am the only one who reviews the content. As a result, it is likely I’ll have the occasional typo or grammar mistake. If you find anything, feel free to let me know.
Lastly, I’ll admit food photography is not my forte. If you make the recipe and have a better picture, please share and I will happily post it and give you photo cred!
