This salad is the perfect summer treat. It is quick and easy to make, and a great way to brighten your day. The combination of seasonal flavors is outstanding!
Ingredients

2 slices turkey bacon

2 oz skinless chicken breast
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- pinch of salt
- pinch of pepper
- 1/2 orange sliced into small pieces
- 1/2 cup quartered strawberries
- 2 cups spinach
- balsamic vinegar as needed

Instructions
Step 1
Cook the bacon over medium-high heat on a skillet. Flip the bacon until it is crisp on both sides (approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the bacon from the heat and cut into small pieces.
Step 2
Season the chicken with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken to a skillet and cook without adding oil (approximately 2-4 minutes per side). I recommend using water instead of oil to help with the cooking.
Step 3
Serve the spinach on the plate and add on the chicken, bacon, orange and strawberries. Add balsamic vinegar to taste.
